PwC Singapore’s Trade Advisory Hub seeks an experienced US Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) for a Manager role. You will advise on US customs and trade rules, classification, valuation, and origin issues, guiding clients through compliance programs and regulatory changes across global teams.

The role emphasizes risk management, governance, and digitalisation of customs operations, with collaboration across functions and cultures to resolve complex trade matters.

Qualifications

• Active US Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) certification is required.
• 5+ years of experience in customs compliance, global trade, or trade advisory.
• Strong knowledge of US customs regulations, tariff classification, customs valuation, and country of origin rules.
• Experience advising business stakeholders on trade and customs compliance matters.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on US customs and trade rules, planning opportunities, and compliance programmes.
• Provide advice on tariff classification, customs valuation, country of origin, Free Trade Agreement eligibility, and export controls.
• Track regulatory changes and explain their impact on the business and its compliance requirements.
• Support government reviews, information requests, and regulatory enquiries.
• Drive process improvement, risk management, governance, and digitalisation across customs and trade operations.
• Collaborate effectively across functions and cultures to bring teams together and address complex trade matters.
