Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to design, build and operate cloud-ready applications. You will create microservices, containerise with Docker and Kubernetes, and implement robust CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires leadership of a small team, deep cloud experience, and the ability to review and optimise customer workflows while delivering reliable software. East Singapore location with permanent, full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems.
• Proficient with container technologies and Kubernetes platform concepts.
• Strong backend and frontend language experience (GoLang/Java/React/.NET).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and cloud-native deployments.
• Experience building scalable, secure, cost-aware microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain cloud-optimised applications for scalability and resilience.
• Create microservices and containerise using Docker/Kubernetes; develop CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to full SDLC including testing, implementation and documentation.
• Review business workflows and suggest improvements; mentor junior engineers.
• Lead a small software team and advocate engineering best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain applications optimised for cloud environments, with a focus on scalability, resilience, and automation.
• Create microservices, containerise applications using Docker and Kubernetes, and develop CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including application development, implementation, testing, maintenance, and documentation.
• Review customers' existing business workflows and system functionalities, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Support architecture design during pre-sales and implementation phases.
• Lead a small team of software engineers and mentor junior engineers.
• Implement software best practices and act as an advocate for the engineering team.
• Be responsible for the installation, configuration, and integration of COTS products with in-house software products.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems.
• Proficient in container technologies, with deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficient in one or more back-end programming languages or frameworks such as GoLang or .NET / .NET Core or Java etc
• Proficient in JavaScript and one or more front-end frameworks such as React
• Proficient in Git
• Proficient in building applications directly on Kubernetes platforms using managed services
• Proficient in monitoring and optimisation, including ensuring service reliability, security, and cost efficiency through logging, monitoring tools such as Prometheus, and performance tuning
• Experience with DevOps CI/CD and testing tools such as GitHub Actions and Argo CD
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good written and verbal communication skills to present complex ideas or technical solutions to business or management teams
