Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Java backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services. You will collaborate with frontend, QA and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and participate in system design and code reviews.

The role requires experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud environments, and databases, with a focus on performance, testing, and documentation. Strong problem-solving skills and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in building scalable and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud environments.
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and performance tuning.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance backend services, APIs, and microservices architectures
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and documentation

Requirements
