Job summary

SCIENTE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. seeks a Senior Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience to build scalable software, drive technical solutions, and collaborate with Agile teams to deliver secure, high-quality applications.

You will work on front-end and back-end development, APIs, and infrastructure, contributing to PoCs and IOC initiatives while ensuring secure coding and maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
• Minimum 4 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript (Angular/React/Next.js), C#, or Java.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and OOP.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, secure coding, and software maintenance.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with ownership or leadership responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub, automated testing, and code reviews.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build secure, scalable, and high-quality software features aligned with sprint priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and implementation plans.
• Develop and maintain front-end applications, back-end services, APIs, and software components.
• Support Proof of Concept (POC) and Initial Operations Capability (IOC) initiatives.
• Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Troubleshoot software issues, resolve defects, and provide post-deployment support.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Analyze existing applications and recommend scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, designers, and stakeholders on technical decisions.
• Estimate effort, identify technical risks, and contribute to successful project delivery.
