Job summary

Trust Recruit Pte Ltd is recruiting for a Senior Cybersecurity role in Singapore East. The incumbent will lead cybersecurity system maintenance, monitor security tools, and support incident response and vulnerability management across IT operations.

The candidate should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with 7+ years in cyber security maintenance or IT security operations, and possess competencies in endpoint, network security, and IAM.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years in cyber security maintenance or IT security operations.
• Proficient in endpoint security, network security and IAM.
• CISSP or equivalent certification is advantageous.
• Experience in container security and key management is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity system maintenance: monitor and maintain security tools, firewalls, antivirus, and IDS/IPS.
• Incident response support: identify, investigate, and respond to security incidents, documenting and escalating with vendors as needed.
• Vulnerability management: conduct regular assessments and patch management to keep systems secure.
• Security audits: support audits by gathering logs and reports and ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Collaboration: work with IT teams, network engineers, and stakeholders to implement security measures.
• Documentation: maintain detailed documentation on security procedures and incidents.

Responsibilities:

• Cybersecurity System Maintenance: Regularly monitor and maintain security tools, firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
• Incident Response Support: Assist in identifying, investigating, and responding to security incidents, providing first-level troubleshooting and documentation. Liaise with technology vendors for escalation where required
• Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and patch management to ensure systems remain secure
• Security Audits: Support security audits by gathering and preparing necessary logs and reports. Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory standards
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, network engineers, and other stakeholders to implement security measures and support operational needs
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation on security procedures, incidents, and the overall state of cybersecurity environment

Requirements:

• Possess Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
• With over 7 years of experience in cyber security maintenance role or IT security operations
• Proficient in Cyber Security Domain: Endpoint protection / Network Security / IAM
• Possess with certification CISSP or cyber security equivalent in advantage
• Knowledge advantage: Operational experience in Container Security and Key Management
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to lead a team of engineers to fulfil Day 1 and Day 2 functions
