Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD.

in Singapore is recruiting a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to design and implement security solutions aligned with corporate policies and local regulations. You will review security architecture across cloud, on‑premises, and third‑party environments, conduct risk assessments and penetration tests, coordinate incident response with the SOC, and drive remediation of gaps and audit findings to strengthen overall security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+; CEH.
• GIAC/GSEC, GIAC or GCIH preferred; Cloud security certs (AWS/Azure).
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and SDLC integration.

• Design and implement security solutions aligned with corporate policies and local regulations.
• Review security architecture across cloud, on-premises, and third-party environments.
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and penetration tests.

• Track remediation of security gaps and audit findings.
• Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans on critical assets and applications.
• Track remediation progress and report status to management.
• Work with developers to resolve application vulnerabilities.
• Identify, assess, prioritise, and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
• Maintain centralised records of security events, incidents, and vulnerabilities.
• Analyse trends and provide actionable security reports to management.
• Regularly review and improve security standards and procedures.
• Incorporate lessons learned from incidents.
• Promote secure development, security awareness, and cross-team collaboration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred)
• Preferred experience: Working with development teams to embed security in the software development lifecycle, conducting secure code reviews, and using automated scanning tools
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+, CEH,
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Global Information Assurance Certification such as GIAC, GSEC ,GIAC or GCIH preferred.
• Cloud Security Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Speciality or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Additional desirable skills: Knowledge of secure coding practices, application security frameworks (e.g., OWASP Top 10), and experience integrating security into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, concepts, threats, and best practices from both defensive and incident response perspectives.
