Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced cybersecurity professional to join our team in the East. The role emphasizes maintenance, incident response support, vulnerability management, and audits to ensure security aligns with regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with IT and network teams, document procedures, perform PoC activities, and help implement robust security controls. A relevant degree is required; certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in CS/CE/IT or related field.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity implementation/maintenance.
• Experience in at least one domain: endpoints, networks, IAM.
• Certs like CompTIA Security+ or CISSP are advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Team player with customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity system maintenance: monitor security tools, firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS.
• Incident response support: assist investigations and documentation.
• Vendor liaison for escalation when required.
• Vulnerability management: regular assessments and patching.
• Security audits: assist in logs and reports to meet standards.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams to implement security measures.

• Conduct proof of concept.

Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity System Maintenance: Regularly monitor and maintain security tools, firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Incident Response Support: Assist in identifying, investigating, and responding to security incidents, providing first-level troubleshooting and documentation.
• Liaise with technology vendors for escalation where required
• Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and patch management to ensure systems remain secure.
• Security Audits: Support security audits by gathering and preparing necessary logs and reports. Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, network engineers, and other stakeholders to implement security measures and support operational needs.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation on security procedures, incidents, and the overall state of the cybersecurity environment.
• Conduct Proof of Concept.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• With over 5 years of experience in cybersecurity implementation / maintenance
• Experience in either one of the multiple cyber security domains e.g. (Endpoint protection, Network Security, IAM).
• Certifications such as CompTia Security + , CISSP or equivalent would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skill and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Team-oriented with a strong customer service mindset.
