Job summary

ALPHAEUS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a senior cybersecurity professional to lead and maintain the organisation's security posture, including incident response, vulnerability management, audits, and IT collaboration to strengthen controls.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering, 5+ years in cyber security or IT security operations, strong communication, and CISSP or equivalent certification. You will manage Day 1 and Day 2 activities within a team of engineers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in cyber security maintenance or IT security operations.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• CISSP or cyber security equivalent certification.
• Expertise in Endpoint protection, Network Security, and IAM.
• Experience with Container Security and Key Management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Regularly monitor and maintain security tools, firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Assist in identifying, investigating, and responding to security incidents, providing first-level troubleshooting and documentation.
• Liaise with technology vendors for escalation where required.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and patch management to ensure systems remain secure.
• Support security audits by gathering and preparing necessary logs and reports.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with IT teams, network engineers, and other stakeholders to implement security measures and support operational needs.
• Maintain detailed documentation on security procedures, incidents, and the overall state of cybersecurity environment.
• Lead a team of engineers to fulfil Day 1 and Day 2 functions.
