Job summary

The successful candidate will be SNB-registered, hold a nursing diploma or degree, and work collaboratively with the medical team to ensure timely evaluation, treatment and discharge of patients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing with valid registration by the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
• Must maintain professional standards and patient safety as part of nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychological and social needs to determine urgency of care and prioritise treatment.
• Obtain and document patients’ medical histories, presenting complaints, vital signs and current medications accurately.
• Provide safe, compassionate and patient-centred nursing care while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Monitor patients’ conditions, conduct regular clinical assessments and promptly report any changes to the medical team.
• Assist doctors with physical examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatment interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with prescriptions and established clinical protocols.
• Educate patients on their conditions, medications, treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety and clinical standards.
• Collaborate with doctors and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to facilitate timely assessment, treatment and discharge of patients.
