Job summary

ES RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a System Engineer to support Unix/Linux environments at Changi Airport. You will maintain critical systems, troubleshoot issues, and participate in upgrades and project implementations.

The role requires hands-on Unix/Linux experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and vendors. A 1-year renewable assignment with standard office hours and on-site work is offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in CS/IT or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant system/support experience.
• Hands-on Unix/Linux system support and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine system maintenance and scheduled activities.
• Support Unix/Linux OS and applications including monitoring.
• Upgrade, patch, and maintain OS and apps.
• Handle service and change requests; resolve incidents.
• Troubleshoot system, app, and technical issues with vendors.
• Investigate root causes and preventive actions.
• Prepare incident and technical reports for stakeholders.
• Assist with ISO audit activities and system docs.
• Participate in project installations, testing and commissioning.
• Provide 24×7 standby support when required.
