Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Interactive Media, Digital Technologies, Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in immersive technologies, 3D development, or digital systems engineering.
Proficiency in photogrammetry and 3D pipelines for real-time or web-based environments.
Experience with VR/AR across platforms; knowledge of WebGL or similar engines.
Experience deploying scalable immersive solutions in cloud environments (AWS preferred).

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end immersive technology design and implementation for libraries' collections and exhibitions.
Architect and optimize 3D capture workflows, modelling, rendering, and asset pipelines.
Develop high-performance interactive 3D environments and immersive applications.
Ensure performance, security, accessibility, and sustainability standards.
Provide technical consultation to librarians, faculty, researchers, and partners.
Develop standards, documentation, and reusable frameworks for institutional capability.
