National University Of Singapore (NUS) Libraries seeks an Assistant Manager to lead immersive technology design and implementation, advancing digital transformation and discoverability of library collections. You will drive 3D, VR, and AR initiatives within the Strategy Planning Unit, shaping technical standards and scalable asset pipelines.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Interactive Media, Digital Technologies, Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in immersive technologies, 3D development, or digital systems engineering.
Proficiency in photogrammetry and 3D pipelines for real-time or web-based environments.
Experience with VR/AR across platforms; knowledge of WebGL or similar engines.
Experience deploying scalable immersive solutions in cloud environments (AWS preferred).

Responsabilités

Lead end-to-end immersive technology design and implementation for libraries' collections and exhibitions.
Architect and optimize 3D capture workflows, modelling, rendering, and asset pipelines.
Develop high-performance interactive 3D environments and immersive applications.
Ensure performance, security, accessibility, and sustainability standards.
Provide technical consultation to librarians, faculty, researchers, and partners.
Develop standards, documentation, and reusable frameworks for institutional capability.
