Job summary

Synapxe is seeking an intern for the Infrastructure Assurance & Standards team to analyze operational data, build dashboards, and develop automation solutions that improve processes in health tech.

You'll work with real datasets using Power BI and Power Automate, gaining hands‑on experience in data analytics, process improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a related field (Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, CS).
• Familiar with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Python, or SQL.
• Basic understanding of data processing, reporting, and dashboard development.

Responsibilities

• Analyse historical findings data to identify trends, root causes, and recurring process issues
• Develop dashboards to improve visibility of process performance and gaps
• Review existing workflows and identify inefficiencies
• Design and prototype automation solutions (e.g., reminders, status tracking)
• Recommend improvements to enhance process standardisation and efficiency

We are looking for intern(s) to join our Infrastructure Assurance & Standards team as a Data Analytics & Automation intern, where you will analyse operational data, build interactive dashboards, and develop automation solutions to improve processes. You’ll work with real datasets and business challenges, gaining hands‑on experience in data analytics, process improvement, and tools such as Power BI and Power Automate.

The Selected Intern(s) Will Assist In The Following

• Analyse historical findings data to identify trends, root causes, and recurring process issues
• Develop dashboards to improve visibility of process performance and gaps
• Review existing workflows (e.g., tracking, follow-ups, reporting) and identify inefficiencies
• Design and prototype automation solutions (e.g., reminders, status tracking, escalation workflows)
• Recommend improvements to enhance process standardisation and efficiency

About You

• Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Artificial Intelligence Systems, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Python, or SQL
• Basic understanding of data processing, reporting, and dashboard development
• Understanding of IT governance framework or risk management is a plus
• Exposure to workflow automation tools (e.g. Power Automate, Power Platform, RPA tools) is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities
• Good team player with strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate insights to stakeholders
• Independent, fast‑learner, and self‑driven
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
