Job summary

Synapxe invites interns to join a data-driven team powering a healthier Singapore through the HEALIX DataLake platform. You will gain hands-on experience from requirements gathering to testing and go-live validation, ensuring data accuracy and supporting dashboard development.

You will work on ETL validation, develop scripts in Python and SQL, and explore AI-enabled workflows in healthcare data contexts. A collaborative, fast-paced environment awaits your steady, analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate in Year 2 or 3 pursuing a relevant degree.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting and query optimisation.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, including AWS and Databricks.
• Basic programming skills in Python and PySpark.
• Foundational understanding of Agentic AI concepts in healthcare data context.
• Independent, fast‑learner, and self‑driven; good teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end project activities, including requirement gathering, coordination, and progress tracking across HEALIX DataLake projects.
• Assist in data validation and testing, including SIT/UAT, validating ETL pipeline outputs, and ensuring data accuracy.
• Support development of scripts (e.g. Python, SQL) to facilitate data analysis, testing, and verification processes.
• Assist in dashboard and data visualisation validation, ensuring outputs meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and support project deliverables.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives, including exploring AI use cases to enhance workflows.
• Support documentation and coordination activities, including preparing project artefacts, meeting notes, and tracking action items.

We are looking for intern(s) to join our team to support data-driven projects on the HEALIX DataLake platform. This internship offers hands‑on experience in end‑to‑end project delivery, from requirements gathering to testing and go‑live validation. You will be involved in ensuring data accuracy, validating data pipelines, and supporting dashboard development, while also exploring automation and AI‑driven use cases to enhance data processes.

The Selected Intern(s) Will Assist In Following

• Support end-to-end project activities, including requirement gathering, coordination, and progress tracking across HEALIX DataLake projects
• Assist in data validation and testing, including supporting SIT/UAT, validating ETL pipeline outputs, and ensuring data accuracy
• Support development of scripts (e.g. Python, SQL) to facilitate data analysis, testing, and verification processes

About You

• Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Business Artificial Intelligence Systems, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools (e.g. Informatica, Databricks)
• Proficiency in SQL scripting and query optimisation
• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, including AWS and Databricks
• Basic programming skills in Python and PySpark
• Foundational understanding of Agentic AI concepts and the design of AI‑driven workflows within a healthcare data context
• Independent, fast‑learner, and self‑driven Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
