Job summary

QBE Asia in Singapore is seeking a full-time underwriting professional on a contingent contract to ensure consistent policy implementation and governance across divisions. Your role includes collaborating with actuarial, finance and product teams to develop timely portfolio reporting and to monitor performance against plans.

You will also train stakeholders on underwriting governance and manage the Delegated Authority framework.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in specified product underwriting

Responsibilities

• Implement underwriting policies in line with Group UW Standards.
• Collaborate with actuarial, finance and other teams to develop timely portfolio reporting.
• Provide training on underwriting governance to stakeholders.
• Administer Delegated Authority (DUA) framework for Underwriting.
• Monitor compliance with underwriting guidelines and standards.
• Support business plans, strategy and budgets with Product Leaders.
• Collaborate with Catastrophe Modelling to manage exposures.
• Ensure timely peer reviews and address identified gaps.
• Maintain local UW guidelines and ensure updates are cascaded.
