Job summary

Anywhr is seeking a budding UX designer to understand our business model and translate it into practical product requirements. You will collaborate across teams to gather user needs and conduct user research to inform design decisions.

You will use tools like Figma, Zeplin, InVision, and Illustrator to craft UI designs and prototypes, then present progress to stakeholders at checkpoints and iterate based on feedback. A self-starter with good time management will thrive in our early-stage startup.

Qualifications

• Broadly curious with bias for generalists in an early-stage startup.
• Self-starter and resourceful learner.
• Understanding of UX principles, core design methods (sketching, wireframing, user flow mapping), and user research methodologies.
• Good time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the business model and what it means for the product requirements.
• Collaborate with people across different teams to gather and evaluate user requirements.
• Be involved in end-user research to analyse user behaviour and characteristics.
• Utilise design software such as Figma, Zeplin, Invision, Illustrator to create UI designs and prototypes that illustrate how the website/app functions and looks.
• Prepare and present your work to related teams and/or key stakeholders at checkpoints throughout the design process.
• Iterate on feedback and continually improve on the designs.
• Support engineers in translating and implementing your designs.
