Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a passionate UI Designer to create intuitive, consistent and accessible digital experiences across modern platforms. The role is based in the North-East with Hybrid work and a 6-month renewable contract.

You will design responsive interfaces, develop reusable patterns and tokens, conduct usability tests, and ensure WCAG 2.1 compliance while collaborating with researchers, product managers and engineers.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years' experience in UI or product design.
• Proficient in responsive, accessible UI patterns.
• Portfolio demonstrates design process (web, PDF or Figma).

Responsibilities

• Design responsive user interfaces and end-to-end digital flows
• Develop reusable UI patterns, components and design tokens
• Plan and conduct usability testing, translating findings into meaningful design improvements
• Ensure designs meet WCAG 2.1 accessibility and inclusive-design standards
• Collaborate with researchers, product managers and engineers to align user needs with technical requirements
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of shared design systems and guidelines

Requirements

• Min. of 5 years' experience in UI or product design
• Strong UI design capabilities across layout, typography, visual hierarchy and interaction design.
• Experience designing responsive interfaces for different screen sizes.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including componentisation and design tokens.
• A portfolio (Website, PDF, Google Slides, Figma, etc.) that demonstrates your design process
