Job summary

Atlas Copco seeks a Project Engineer to join our Oil-Free Air team in Singapore. You will prepare and support application engineering activities for engineered and turnkey projects, coordinating with Sales, Procurement, Product Companies, and internal teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

You will lead project execution from concept to delivery, ensure compliance with technical specifications, manage communications with customers and suppliers, and provide ongoing engineering support

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of relevant experience in application engineering or project management.
• Experience in engineered packages and turnkey projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to review enquiries, evaluate scope, and prepare scope summaries.
• Prepare RFQs to vendors through the IC3 platform and coordinate with Procurement.
• Work with Product Companies to ensure clear requirements and timely proposals.
• Participate in bid clarification meetings and address technical queries.
• Develop and maintain project costing summaries and evaluations.
• Ensure timely order processing and obtain Part Numbers for orders.
• Manage project execution to meet delivery schedules and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers to prepare documentation per contract.
• Provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle from design to delivery.
• Lead and support turnkey project installations.
• Review variations, change orders, and claims.
• Monitor schedules and ensure on-time completion, mitigating delays.
• Maintain project communications with customers, suppliers, factories and stakeholders.
• Track payments and cash flow; monitor progress against milestones.
