Job summary

ESD INFRATECH PTE. LTD. seeks a specialist to liaise with the Client’s Consultant and Contractors for a large diameter tunneling project in Singapore.

The role involves coordinating with interfacing contractors and authorities to obtain approvals to commence works and to support ongoing project execution. The candidate will review method statements, design/fabrication reports for the Slurry TBM and ancillary plants, audit FAT, participate in SAT and site meetings, and provide expert comments and

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist review of method statements, daily reports, installation records, instrumentation reports, and plant performance.
• Review the design and fabrication reports of the large diameter Slurry TBM and ancillary plants.
• Audit the Large Slurry TBM compliance with the design and provide specialist review during the FAT.
• Attend and provide specialist review on slurry TBM, plant setup and SAT.
• Review tunneling parameters and instrumentation results throughout tunneling and provide comments/recommendations.
• Attend technical, safety and site meetings requiring advice and decisions for large diameter tunneling works.
• Attend other meetings as required by the Authority’s Project Management Team to resolve coordination, cost and other issues.
• Provide monthly and final wrap-up review of Slurry TBM performance in relation to design, tunneling operation parameters, including modifications to TBM &ancillary plant.

Job description

The LDTS shall support in liaising and coordinating with the Client’s Consultant,Contractor(s), Interfacing Contractors, Instrumentation and Monitoring (IM) Contractor(s), including attend meetings, discussions, give presentations/briefings to the Authority, and/or other authorities and agencies to obtain approval to commence Works and/or whenever required.

Scope of the LDTS shall include, but not limited to the following:

• To provide specialist review of method statements, daily reports, records of installation,instrumentation reports, performance of all plants and equipment and any other associated submissions;
• To review the design and fabrication reports of the large diameter Slurry TBM and ancillary plants;
• To audit the Large Slurry TBM compliance with the design and provide specialist review during the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) ;
• To attend and provide specialist review on slurry TBM, plant setup and Site Acceptance Test (SAT);
• To review tunneling parameters and instrumentation results throughout the period of tunneling and to provide comments and recommendation where required;
• To attend technical, safety and site meetings that require his advice and decision in relation to large diameter tunneling works;
• To attend any other meetings as required by the Authority’s Project Management Team to resolve coordination, technical, cost and other work-related issues;
• To provide monthly and final wrap-up review of Slurry TBM performance in relation to design,tunneling operation parameters, including modifications made to TBM &ancillary plant, processes, troubleshooting, comments & recommendations;
