Job summary

Parkway Hospitals Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Instrument Sterilization Technician to support the surgical team in ensuring availability and readiness of instrument sets, packs and consumables for daily OT usage.

You will decontaminate, wash, clean, pack and sterilize instruments; prepare sets for sterilization; monitor quality with biological/chemical checks; maintain instrument integrity from storage to usage and keep the OT environment clean.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification GCE 'N' Level preferred.
• At least 1-2 years related experience will be of added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and support the surgical team by ensuring the availability of instrument sets, packs and consumables for daily OT usage.
• Perform decontamination, washing, cleaning, packing and sterilizing instruments and instrument sets.
• Prepare instruments and instrument sets for sterilization according to established policies and procedures.
• Perform biological and chemical monitoring and documentation in accordance with quality assurance standard.
• Maintain the integrity of the sterile instruments, instrument sets and packs from storage to usage.
• Maintain cleanliness of the environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Manager/Nurse Manager.

• Perform decontamination, washing, cleaning, packing and sterilizing instruments and instrument sets.
• Preparing instruments and instrument sets for sterilization according to established policies and procedures.
• Perform biological and chemical monitoring and documentation in accordance with quality assurance standard.
• Maintain adequate supply of instruments, instrument sets, packs and consumables for daily OT usage.
• Maintain the integrity of the sterile instruments, instrument sets and packs from storage to usage.
• Maintain cleanliness of the environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Manager/Nurse Manager.
