Job summary

The National University Health System Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Instrument Technician to manage sterile processing across the Theatre Sterile Supplies Unit, ensuring decontamination, packaging and distribution of sterile items to operating theatres and wards.

You will supervise junior staff, monitor equipment, and uphold infection control standards. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Engineering or related technical credentials, with experience in CSSD/TSSU.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or relevant technical credentials.
• One year of working experience as Instrument Technical Assistant or CSSD/TSSU preferred.
• Good inter-personal and supervisory skills.
• Excellent written English and proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily smooth functioning of TSSU operations for decontamination, packing and storage of sterile items.
• Operate washer-disinfectors, dryers, ultrasonic washer and sterilizers; monitor loads.
• Perform sterilizer test indicators and maintain instrument tracking.
• Supervise junior staff and participate in quality improvement activities
