Job summary

BRITISH AND MALAYAN TRUSTEES LIMITED in Singapore seeks a diligent Trust Administrator to manage day-to-day administration of a portfolio of trust accounts, reporting to the Head of Trust Administration. You will assist onboarding, AML/KYC, draft trust documents, facilitate asset transfers, and liaise with lawyers, tax advisors, and bankers to ensure compliant and timely distributions to beneficiaries.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of proven Trust and Company administration experience.
• Relevant Degree/ Diploma holder (Accounting preferred).
• STEP qualified or part qualified / pursuing.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to understand client needs in Trust setup.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist onboarding of new clients and obtain AML/KYC documentation.
• Assist in drafting trust documents such as resolutions and letters of wishes.
• Assist in asset transfers into the Trust setup, including opening bank accounts.
• Assist in collection of earnings, dividends or sale proceeds into Trust account.
• Liaise with lawyers, tax advisors and bankers on trust structures.
• Assist in direct distribution of funds to Beneficiaries per Trust Deed.
• Periodic review of Trusts and Estates under administration.
• Manage existing trust clients and develop relationships with exemplary service.
• Raise awareness of AML/KYC issues to management promptly.
