ALBA W&H SMART CITY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Driver (Recycling Collection) to safely operate a 14-foot lorry, collect recyclables from designated points, and maintain roadworthiness through daily checks. The role requires basic English, teamwork, and willingness to work a 6-day week including weekends.

As a Driver (Recycling Collection), you will be responsible for collecting recyclables from designated locations, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and supporting our mission towards a more sustainable environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 14-foot lorry to collect recyclables from assigned collection points.
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient collection.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding operational issues, public feedback, and customer enquiries.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Comply with all Quality, Environmental, Safety, Health (QESH), and traffic regulations.
• Maintain professional and courteous conduct when interacting with customers and members of the public.
• Work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks as required.

Requirements

• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Possession of a Class 4 Driving Licence will be an added advantage.
• Basic English communication skills to understand instructions and report operational issues.
• Positive attitude, good work ethic, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work a 6-day work week, including early morning shifts, weekends, and public holidays based on operational requirements.
• Experience is not required.

Working Arrangements

• Working location: Singapore East area
• Working schedule: 6-day work week, shift hours according to roster and operational requirements
• Able to start immediately or within short notice
