ALBA CIRCULAR SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Driver (Recycling Collection) in Singapore East to collect recyclables. The role requires operating a 14-foot lorry, adhering to routes and schedules, and maintaining safety and vehicle readiness.

The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and outdoor physical work with immediate or short-notice start availability. No prior experience is required, and licensing compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Possession of a Class 4 Driving Licence will be an added advantage.
• Basic English communication skills to understand instructions and report issues.
• Positive attitude, good work ethic, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work a 6-day work week, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 14-foot lorry to collect recyclables from assigned points.
• Follow designated routes and schedules for timely collection.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding operational issues and customer enquiries.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections for vehicle safety and cleanliness.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Comply with QESH and traffic regulations at all times.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers and the public.
• Work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 14-foot lorry to collect recyclables from assigned collection points.
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient collection.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding operational issues, public feedback, and customer enquiries.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Comply with all Quality, Environmental, Safety, Health (QESH), and traffic regulations.
• Maintain professional and courteous conduct when interacting with customers and members of the public.
• Work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
