Job summary

Standard Chartered Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to join Treasury Services as the central real-time nostro and liquidity management lead. You will work on intraday funding forecasts, MEPS+ monitoring, and proactive cash management to support Treasury Markets and other business units on a global basis.

You will partner with Treasury Markets to ensure timely funding decisions, manage intraday liquidity risk, and provide accurate MIS and reports while helping shape the Target

Qualifications

• 10 years' relevant experience in Banking operations
• 2 years’ experience of funding and liquidity management
• Prior people manager experience
• Good verbal & written business communication

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for real time nostro management processes including intraday liquidity monitoring and management of the firm’s central bank accounts in the MEPs+ system
• Calculate and provide funding forecasts to Treasury Markets on an intraday basis with adherence to cutoffs; analyse root causes of forecast swings
• Proactively manage payment scheduling systems to meet throughput and time-critical payments
• Monitor MEPS+ for regulatory compliance (MCB, GPS) and raise issues to Treasury Markets promptly
• Reconcile forecasted vs actual nostro settlements in near real time; investigate reconciliation exceptions and alerts
• Serve as a key partner to Treasury Markets for real time funding and liquidity decision-making
• Manage Nostro accounts across SCB Singapore including payment switches to optimize liquidity
• Provide Nostro MIS and control reports to support intraday liquidity risk measurement and management
• Collaborate with Treasury Markets to identify opportunities to enhance the operational support model
• Contribute inputs on process/system changes in Treasury Services and support rollout of intraday liquidity platform in Singapore
• Support global initiatives and contribute to the Treasury Services Target Operating Model within the network
