Job summary

MSIG Insurance (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Treasury/Finance support role to manage daily cashflow and assist the treasury function with surplus funds on time deposits. You will prepare fixed deposit letters, reconcile monthly interests, and produce liquidity forecasts in coordination with business units.

Responsibilities include treasury close, FX rate tables, interfund transfers, and liaising with banks and external lawyers.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word for financial reporting.
• Understanding of accounting practices, preferably insurance related.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily cashflow and support treasury function on placements of surplus funds on time deposits.
• Prepare fixed deposit letters, ClearWater GDT and upkeep of Fixed deposits listing.
• Monthly accrued interest and revaluation computations.
• Monthly treasury closing, reconciliation and credit exposure report.
• Liaise with Business Units on Fixed deposits (Cash Collateral).
• Prepare Liquidity position report and liquidity forecast.
• Prepare weekly & month end foreign exchange rates tables.
• Tracking of reserved funds vs actual payment amount and date associate with cashflow management.
• Prepare bi-weekly Fixed deposit instructions, liaise and negotiate with banks for competitive rates.
• Prepare monthly investment schedules and recon.
• Keep track and prepare monthly provisional management fees entries.
• Initiate fund transfers for business operations & Interfund settlements.
• Handle all bank related matters such as online platform application forms, opening of new accounts and so on.
• Liaise with external lawyer for certification of documents.
• Prepare and ensure monthly accounting entries are taken up Oracle system timely.
• Undertake any other duties as may be assigned
