Job summary

TTS Group Pte Ltd (Singapore) is seeking a traffic engineer to provide technical leadership on traffic engineering, transport planning and safety studies. You will utilize AutoCAD and modelling tools to support project deliverables and liaise with developers and consultants.

The role requires knowledge of traffic safety, planning principles and strong analytical capabilities, with potential international travel to TTS Group operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in Traffic/Transportation fields.
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Traffic/Transportation Engineering.
• Professional advisory experience for developers/consultants/agencies on traffic studies.

Requirements

• Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in Traffic/Transportation-related fields. Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Traffic/Transportation Engineering.
• Provide technical lead and/or assistance on traffic engineering, transport planning, safety & traffic management (i.e., Traffic Control Plan, Traffic Impact Assessment study and Project Safety Review study) related projects and the production of technical reports.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD SIDRA, VISSIM, VISUM, VISWALK, AutoCAD and AutoTurn. Any other modelling software is an advantage.
• To offer professional advice to developers, consultants, and other agencies on various traffic studies.
• Possess initiative, good communication and leadership skills with lateral thinking ability.
• Make international travels to countries of which TTS Group has operations or businesses in to assist in projects or company related activities.
• Having the certificate in “Road Safety Reviewer Accreditation Course” is an advantage.
• Class 3 driving license is an advantage.
• Candidates with relevant experience, good understanding of transport safety & traffic management principles and strong analytical capabilities will be considered for senior roles.
