Job summary

TTS Group Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Traffic/Transportation Engineer to lead projects in traffic engineering, transport planning and safety review. The role involves producing technical reports and providing professional advice to developers, consultants and agencies.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in related fields, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead teams. Travel to multiple countries where TTS operates may be required. A civil engineering background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in traffic/transportation fields.

• Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers.

Job description

Requirements

• Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in Traffic/Transportation-related fields. Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Traffic/Transportation Engineering.
• Provide technical lead and/or assistance on traffic engineering, transport planning, safety & traffic management (i.e., Traffic Control Plan, Traffic Impact Assessment study and Project Safety Review study) related projects and the production of technical reports.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD SIDRA, VISSIM, VISUM, VISWALK, AutoCAD and AutoTurn. Any other modelling software is an advantage.
• To offer professional advice to developers, consultants, and other agencies on various traffic studies.
• Possess initiative, good communication and leadership skills with lateral thinking ability.
• Make international travels to countries of which TTS Group has operations or businesses in to assist in projects or company related activities.
• Having the certificate in “Road Safety Reviewer Accreditation Course” is an advantage.
• Class 3 driving license is an advantage.
• Candidates with relevant experience, good understanding of transport safety & traffic management principles and strong analytical capabilities will be considered for senior roles.
