Job summary

Singapore National Eye Centre seeks a Senior Research Officer / Research Associate for the Laboratory of Translational Research in Fibrovascular Complications. You will perform animal, cell culture, biochemistry and molecular biology research under supervision, focusing on drug delivery and evaluation of therapeutics in disease models.

Qualifications

• Must have wet-lab research experience and relevant technical skills.
• Ability to plan, organise and conduct research studies under supervision.
• Experience documenting results and contributing to manuscripts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and conduct research projects focused on drug delivery and therapeutics.
• Perform animal, cell culture, biochemistry and molecular biology experiments.
• Write and review research papers, present outcomes, and contribute to grant proposals.
• Mentor undergraduate/medical students and research assistants.
• Maintain progress and quality of experiments in the lab.
