Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a capable ophthalmology research assistant to conduct assessments, support a broad range of clinical measurements and ensure data quality across multiple trials.

You will assist with participant visits, contribute to SOPs, ethics submissions, and literature reviews, and help prepare manuscripts in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team. This role requires attention to protocol integrity and certification in eye health assessments.

Qualifications

• Experience in ophthalmology assessments in a clinical or research setting.
• Mandatory certification or training in eye health assessments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to protocol integrity.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ophthalmology assessments including visual acuity, intraocular pressure, fundus imaging and other eye health measurements in a research setting.
• Support a broad range of clinical assessments including body composition (InBody), physical performance (grip strength, gait speed), cardiovascular measures, skin assessments and cognitive testing.
• Assist with blood, urine and saliva sample collection and processing.
• Ensure accurate data entry, compliance checks and documentation across multiple concurrent clinical trials.
• Support participant visits from reception through to assessment completion.
• Contribute to SOP development, ethics submission support and data quality monitoring.
• Participate in afternoon research tasks including data cleaning, literature reviews and manuscript preparation
