Job summary

sggovterp is seeking an Engineer, Commuter Facilities Management in Singapore to lead the design, inspection and maintenance of commuter facilities such as footbridges, shelters and linkways. You will manage tender specs, supervise on-site works and provide professional guidance to developers and agencies.

Strong GIS/BIM and data analysis skills are desirable. The role demands independent work, good writing and interpersonal abilities, and a proactive approach to safety and quality in public

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Civil/Structural Engineering and related domains such as GIS, BIM and data analysis.
• Strong interest in technology and data-driven decision making.
• Willingness to learn new skills and innovate.
• Independent, self-motivated with good project management and organisational skills.
• Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of civil construction materials (reinforced concrete, steel, asphalt) preferred.
• Experience with commuter facilities construction, handling customer feedback, GIS, BIM and productivity/automation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead in management, maintenance and engineering design of commuter facilities (covereds, bridges, shelters).
• Prepare tender specifications and supervise inspection/maintenance contracts to ensure safety on-site.
• Review construction drawings and provide advice to developers, consultants and government agencies.
• Coordinate feedback from the public and other stakeholders and maintain GIS maps and inventory data.
