Job summary

MINDSG LTD is seeking a Training Officer to support persons with intellectual disabilities at the Clementi community hub. You will teach, train, supervise, and develop clients to function independently in daily living, mobility, social, and work-readiness skills.

Responsibilities include formulating ILPs, ongoing assessment, planning group activities, and ensuring safety procedures. Collaborate with allied health professionals and engage caregivers.

Qualifications

• Minimum O levels.
• Certificate and diploma qualifications in community care and special education.
• Diplomas in disability studies or community services (SSI/MOE).

Responsibilities

• Engage in client development and ILP through assessment.
• Plan and implement group activities and safety procedures.
• Monitor health fitness, wellness plans and behavior management.
• Coordinate caregiver dialogue sessions and home visits.
• Attend staff meetings and training as required.
• Support centre operations and logistics.
