Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Singapore offers an 18-month internal / 24-month external Trainee Workshop Engineer program designed to build core skills in engine maintenance and workshop operations.

You will rotate through disassembly, assembly, testing and troubleshooting activities while learning SAP and Solumina workflows, with emphasis on safety, quality and teamwork. A three-year service commitment is required upon completion.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Internal candidates must hold valid CT approval.
• Good analytical skills and ability to grasp concepts and resolve issues quickly.
• Strong teamwork and communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform engine disassembly, assembly, testing, inspection and repair per data and regulations.
• Lead and supervise technicians, assign tasks and monitor progress.
• Assist leaders in operations planning to meet targets and goals.
• Support continuous improvement, EH&S, and quality initiatives.
