Job summary

Horizon Singapore Terminals Private Limited is seeking a Terminal Operator to perform all terminal operations safely and in line with procedures. You will coordinate berthing and un-berthing of vessels, issue loading and discharge orders, and monitor tank farm activities.

Ensure mooring lines, jetty equipment, and loading arms operate safely. Report incidents promptly, support the Shift Leader, and coordinate with pilots and contractors to comply with safety, health and environment rules.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all Terminal operations including control room, jetty, manifold, tank farm, utility and emergency response tasks safely in accordance with standard operating procedure
• Coordinate berthing and un-berthing of vessels alongside of the terminal.
• Deliver and monitor loading / discharge orders to vessel.
• Carry out tank sampling/dipping
• Ensure ship's mooring lines are taut, gangway and loading arms are operating safely and complying with terminal safety rules and regulations.
• Acknowledge and respond as a panel man, field/jetty technician in accordance with established alarm procedures.
• Report all incidents in a timely manner.
• Follow basic mandatory work instructions to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of own self and others.
• Liaise with the pilot to ensure safe mooring of the ship and positioning of the ship's manifold to the loading arms.
• Handle shipping documentation
• Comply and support the safety and emergency response procedures of the terminal.
• Support Shift Leader to make sure that contractors or third party execute operation tasks on site that adhered to safety, health and environment regulations and the company's standards.
