Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking a trainee to support solar forecasting initiatives within the Department. You will assist in analysing forecast accuracy, data quality, and contribute to energy storage test bedding and process automation.

You will help automate operational tasks, streamline information extraction from OT systems, and ingest meteorological data to improve forecast models. This role provides hands-on experience in a government-tech environment in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Diploma in Computing or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist in solar forecasting project and analyse forecast accuracy.
• Assist in automating operations and daily BAU tasks to increase efficiency.
• Streamline information extraction and data analysis from OT systems.
• Automate checking of data submitted by Licensees for database and display construction.
• Ingest NWP and satellite images and write code to convert files for the solar forecasting model.
