Crédit Agricole CIB in Singapore offers a 1-year trainee contract within the Financial Institutions Group, covering central banks, wealth funds, asset managers and banks across Singapore and SE Asia.

You will assist with annual reviews, prepare for external client meetings, draft call reports, and conduct client research while completing mandatory in-house training and compliance requirements. Internship experience is valued but not required, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years of full-time working experience.
• Minimum 2nd Class Upper degree in Accounting, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics or Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other PC applications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with ability to provide solutions.

This is a 1-Year contract where the Trainee will gain hands-on experience in Financial Institutions Group business of the Bank, which covers central banks, sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, insurance companies, hedge funds and banks in Singapore and SE Asia region.

Key Responsibilities:

• To assist with preparations of annual reviews, credit applications
• To organize and make preparations for external client meetings
• To prepare call reports and monitor follow up action points post external client meetings
• To perform research on specific clients through various public sources
• To complete all compulsory in-house training courses
• Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
• Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
• Any other ad hoc duties

Requirements:

• Less than 2 years of full-time working experience
