Chong Chia & Lim LLC in Singapore invites applications for Relevant Legal Training & Practice Training Contract. Trainees will learn the technical aspects of legal pleadings, participate in strategic planning of prosecuting claims, and attend court hearings to gain experience presenting arguments in court and tribunals.

Trainees will receive highly personal, one-to-one supervised training from the senior partner and guidance from the firm’s associate lawyers.

Qualifications

• Law graduates from Singapore universities or recognised foreign universities.
• Interest in construction and civil litigation.

Description du poste

1. We are inviting applications for Relevant Legal Training & Practice Training Contract.

2. Our practical training programmes provide trainees with opportunities to learn the technical aspects of legal pleadings, participate actively in the strategic planning process of prosecuting claims, and attend court and tribunal hearings to gain experience in presenting arguments in court and tribunals.

3. Trainees will receive highly personal, one-to-one supervised training from the senior partner of the firm and will benefit from the guidance of the firm’s supportive associate lawyers.

4. Trainees are encouraged to be independent at an early stage and will be guided on managing their own matters.

5. An honorarium ranging from $3,000-$5,000 monthly (to be adjusted upwards during the training period depending on performance) will be provided through the practice training period.

6. Our key objective is to develop and retain trainees as associate lawyers who will continue to grow with us. Starting pay will be competitive.
