Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Consumer & Business Advanced Trading team in Singapore. You will architect and deliver next-generation trading systems for the IntX product, collaborating with the Trading team to build fast, reliable crypto trading infrastructure and lead cross-organizational initiatives across multiple quarters.

Qualifications

2+ years of software engineering with ownership of large-scale distributed systems.
Experience leading cross-team initiatives from ambiguous problems to measurable outcomes.
Ability to translate product requirements into scalable system designs and explain trade-offs.
Experience with performant backend languages in production trading environments.
Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Responsibilities

Own the technical vision and architecture for mission-critical trading systems, including order management, execution engines, and reliability infrastructure.
Drive multi-quarter projects across multiple engineering teams from design through production delivery.
Partner with Product Management and Design to align product strategy with long-term technical bets and roadmap priorities.
Shape the strategic direction of the trading platform by identifying high-leverage technical initiatives and driving consensus across organizational boundaries.
Deepen engineering talent across the team by coaching engineers at various levels and developing the next generation of trading infrastructure leaders.
