Job summary

Straits Financial, headquartered in Singapore, seeks a Risk Manager for day-to-day trading operations, liquidity management, and risk controls. You will monitor P&L volatility, manage exposure, and ensure platforms like MT4/MT5 run smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on MT4/MT5 experience, familiarity with liquidity providers and risk terminals, plus strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support trading operations and risk management teams.

Qualifications

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, IT.
Minimum 2 years in trading risk, dealing, brokerage operations or similar.
Hands-on experience with MT4/MT5 and broker trading infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Monitor client trading activity, positions, exposure, P&L and risk.
Analyze trading activity and system reports to identify risk events and issues.
Manage risks from client positions, market moves, execution, pricing and liquidity.
Implement risk controls, exposure limits and price management strategies.
Monitor MT4/MT5 and other trading platforms and risk systems.
Collaborate with LPs, bridge providers and tech vendors to resolve issues.
Prepare and analyze trading, risk, exposure and P&L reports for management.
Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures and incidents.
