Job summary

Modular Asset Management, a Singapore-based hedge fund, is seeking an Investment Operations Associate to support daily trading operations and system improvements across multi-asset workflows. Qualifications

• 3–8 years of middle office or operations experience in buy-side or hedge fund.
• Familiarity with P&L attribution and portfolio valuation advantageous.
• Coding ability to automate processes (VBA, Python) and SQL/database familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Daily Trade Operations: capture and reconcile trades; ensure timely settlement.
• Stakeholder Communication: coordinate with internal teams and brokers to resolve issues by end of day.
• Margin Management: respond to margin calls and maintain records.
• Payments & Settlements: oversee G10 and onshore payments; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Automation and Process Improvement: develop initiatives to improve efficiency and controls.
• System Enhancements: participate in UAT and configuration; work with teams on front-to-back changes.
• Data quality and controls: maintain static data across systems.
• Broader team support: own day-to-day tasks; learn new products and workflows.
