Tower Research Capital is a leading quantitative trading firm that operates a high-performance platform with independent trading teams. We seek engineers and support professionals to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize our automated trading strategies across global markets.

Responsibilities include collaborating with traders and developers, ensuring production trading runs smoothly, and developing scripts to automate processes.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in trade monitoring, trading, or trade support preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data and identify issues.
• Experience with Python to support infrastructure and improvements.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

• Monitoring production trading for risk and compliance issues and quickly responding to unusual behaviors or market conditions.
• Proactively troubleshooting and resolving issues related to day-to-day trading activities.
• Developing programming scripts and applications to automate and facilitate our trading system.
• Analyzing production trades and market data, and developing ideas to improve our trading strategies.
• Working an early morning schedule to provide trading and production support aligned with relevant market hours.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a trade monitoring, trading, or trade support role is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze trading data, investigate issues, and draw actionable conclusions
• Good understanding of futures markets, including products, trading venues, market structure, and risk management
• Good understanding of algorithmic trading technology and architecture, including UNIX/Linux environments and monitoring applications
• Experience with Python to support existing infrastructure and identify areas for improvement
• Ability to work effectively on complex tasks, take initiative, and assume increasing responsibility over time
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
• A bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field, such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field
