Job summary

OCBC Group is seeking a Trade Finance Operations Officer for a 1-year contract, based onsite in Singapore. You will manage daily trade finance transactions, ensure AML compliance, and support risk controls, with opportunities to train staff and improve processes.

The role welcomes fresh graduates with a diploma or university degree and requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and proficiency with MS Office. It is an in-office position located at Tampines, Singapore.

Qualifications

• Fresh Diploma/University graduates are welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with commodities trade LCs and SWIFT message types preferred.
• Experience in AML, risk and TBML screening is a bonus.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently or in teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Process and supervise daily trade finance transactions, including LC document checks.
• Resolve document discrepancies and liaise with customers for rectifications.
• Follow up on acceptances, payments, and dishonoured documents.
• Record transactions accurately and manage dispatch and day-end reconciliation.
• Review trade finance documents for AML risks and conduct detailed analysis.
