Job summary

Arcadis Global Asia PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites an experienced Tool Install Designer (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Architectural, Structural) to join our advanced technology A&E design team.

The role supports APAC regional and global semiconductor projects, requires AutoCAD and Revit proficiency, and involves travel to client sites as needed. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in AEC, strong English communication, and a background in semiconductor facility design or tool installation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in the AEC industry, with a proven track record of designing semiconductor facilities.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit; BIM experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with lead engineers and designers on large scale industrial facilities.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for design and modelling tasks.
• Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams and deliver design drawings.
• Develop layouts with project managers and engineers on multiple projects.

What are we looking for?

Arcadis has an excellent opportunity for experienced Tool Install Designers (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Architectural, Structural) to join our growing advanced technology A&E design team in Singapore. Candidates will have direct experience supporting advanced technology tool installation projects within the semiconductor industry, working with multi-disciplinary teams comprised of Designers, Engineers, Project Managers, Coordinators, and field construction personnel. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is required, and Revit is strongly preferred.

This position will support our APAC Regional and Global Semiconductor projects based out of our Singapore office and travel to or station at our client project site on need basis.

Job Scope:

• Work directly with lead engineers and designers on large scale industrial facilities.
• Utilize state-of-the-art design and modelling software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• An understanding of project lifecycle related to tool installation scope and discipline specific deliverables.
• Ability to coordinate and interact effectively across multi-disciplined teams.
• Identifying deliverables, defining requirements, and creating design drawings.
• Develop layouts while working in tandem with project managers and engineers on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in the AEC industry, with a proven track record of designing semiconductor facilities. Bonus points for tool install specialization.
• Working knowledge of relevant CADD software programs; AutoCAD/BIM/Revit, along with Microsoft Office suite.
• Background in drafting and design (Associate’s degree minimum preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Team player who can work with a variety of software, projects, and other individuals.
