Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Sales Executive to lead export timber sales and manage key customer relationships from Singapore. The role offers exposure to new markets and collaboration with internal teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years in timber sales, with strong communication and negotiation skills. Occasional international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of sales experience in timber preferred.
• Knowledge of commodity sales is advantageous.
• Proven sales experience with medium and large corporate clients.
• Strong organization, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally for business.

Responsibilities

• Develop new markets and nurture relationships with existing customers.
• Prepare sales contracts and purchase orders while ensuring compliance.
• Monitor export sales and follow up on orders and payments.
• Identify issues and propose process improvements.
• Collaborate with customers to resolve issues and ensure seamless operations.
• Execute sales strategies and business plans as directed.
• Collaborate with internal sales teams to leverage opportunities.
• Prepare and submit reports to sales management.
• Occasional overseas travel and client entertainment.
