Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent inEnergy Science and Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong background in thermal metamaterials, heat transfer, photonics or related nonreciprocal systems.
• Experience in theoretical modelling and numerical simulation of heat-transfer systems.
• Familiarity with finite-element modelling and programming for complex thermal systems.
• Proficiency with COMSOL, MATLAB or Python is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Theoretical modelling of thermal metamaterials and nonreciprocal thermal photonics.
• Perform band-structure and topological property calculations for thermal systems.
• Develop and implement finite-element and numerical programs for heat-transfer problems.
• Model conduction, convection, radiation and coupled multiphysics phenomena.
• Support data analysis, reporting and interdisciplinary collaboration.
