Job summary

INTELLIPRO SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified professional to join its Singapore team.

The role focuses on performance testing and reliability verification of R&D prototypes, including test plan formulation, test environment setup, and full dimensional testing across optical, electrical, motion, and environmental factors. You will analyze test data, report findings, drive design optimization, and develop automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Optoelectronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Measurement and Control Technology or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of test and verification experience in optical component or semiconductor equipment.
• Experience building automated test systems; Python/MATLAB scripting preferred.
• Hands-on experience in silicon photonic chip and optical module testing; familiar with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct index verification for OE die test equipment, calibrating core parameters such as coupling accuracy, test repeatability, bit error rate and test efficiency.
• Analyze test data, deliver test reports, identify performance bottlenecks and drive design optimization and closed-loop problem resolution.
• Establish product test specifications and standards, develop automated test scripts to improve test efficiency and test coverage.
• Support mass production test procedures and deliver standardized mass production test specifications and SOPs.

About the Company

Our client is a Singapore-headquartered technology company specialising in advanced test equipment for the optical communications and semiconductor industries.

Responsibilities

• Performance testing and reliability verification of R&D prototypes, formulate test plans and build test environments, and complete full-dimensional testing including optical, electrical, motion accuracy and environmental adaptability.
• Conduct index verification for OE die test equipment, including calibration of core parameters such as coupling accuracy, test repeatability, bit error rate and test efficiency.
• Analyze test data, deliver test reports, identify performance bottlenecks and design defects, and drive design optimization and closed-loop problem resolution.
• Establish product test specifications and standards, develop automated test scripts to improve test efficiency and test coverage.
• Support the MY team in establishing mass production test procedures and deliver standardized mass production test specifications and SOPs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Optoelectronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Measurement and Control Technology or other related disciplines.
• Over 3 years of test and verification experience in optical component or semiconductor equipment; experience in building automated test systems is preferred.
• Familiar with the operation of optical communication test instruments and statistical analysis methods for test data; capable of independently designing test plans and test cases; Python/MATLAB scripting development capability is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience in silicon photonic chip and optical module testing; familiar with CPO/OE die test indicators and industry standards.
