Job summary

Lumilens is seeking an Assistant Test Engineer to join our Test team in Singapore. You will work with experienced R&D and Test colleagues to transform silicon photonic integrated circuits into mass‑produced products, in a fast‑moving, vibrant technology environment.

You will support daily testing, assist in assembly, test, analysis and troubleshooting of products and prototypes, help maintain the test lab, and document procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Working experience as Test Engineer in related industries preferred.
• Fresh graduates with internship in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing welcome.
• Familiarity with data collection, analysis and process documentation.
• Familiarity with SPC concepts and statistical methods.
• Programming skills in C#, Python and LabVIEW preferred.
• Strong technical and analytical background with problem solving abilities.
• Team player who can work independently and proactively.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily running of the testing line.
• Conduct assembly, test, analysis and troubleshooting on products and R&D prototypes.
• Assist in maintenance and upkeep of test lab equipment and instruments.
• Provide technical and analytical support for lab operations and SOPs.
• Maintain engineering records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily smooth running of testing line.
• Conduct assembly, test, analysis and troubleshooting on products and R&D prototypes.
• Assist in maintenance and upkeep of test lab including test equipment and instruments.
• Provide technical and analytical support for lab operation and implement standard operating procedures.
• Maintain engineering records and documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Working experience as Test Engineer in related industries (semiconductor, opto-electronics, electronics) is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with internship experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing are welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with data collection and analysis, process documentation.
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) concepts.
• Programming skills in C#, Python and LabVIEW is preferred.
• Strong technical and analytical background, problem solving skills etc.
• Team player and yet able to work independently and pro-actively.
• Possesses high level of integrity with good work ethics.
