Kerry Consulting is assisting a client in Singapore to hire an experienced Testing & Commissioning Manager for data centre projects. You will lead testing across electrical, mechanical and BMS/EPMS, developing plans and coordinating vendors to ensure systems meet design and reliability targets before handover.
Role requires hands-on leadership, strong coordination with multiple contractors, and a proven track record in CX Level 2–5 commissioning within mission-critical facilities.
Our client is a growing data centre infrastructure business delivering technically complex, large-scale facilities across Singapore and the region. They are seeking an experienced Testing & Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities and ensure critical infrastructure systems are fully validated prior to operational handover.
Our client is a growing data centre infrastructure business delivering technically complex, large-scale facilities across Singapore and the region. They are seeking an experienced Testing & Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities and ensure critical infrastructure systems are fully validated prior to operational handover.
Reporting to the Project Director, you will take ownership of testing and commissioning activities across electrical, mechanical and building control systems, ensuring commissioning programmes are delivered safely, systematically and in accordance with project requirements.
You will develop commissioning plans, testing schedules, procedures and documentation, coordinating activities across equipment vendors, MEP contractors, commissioning agents and internal engineering teams. A key focus will be managing progressive commissioning activities from equipment-level testing through functional performance testing and integrated systems testing, including Cx Level 2 through Level 5 where applicable.
The role will involve validating critical infrastructure performance under normal operating conditions, equipment failure scenarios and emergency response sequences. You will coordinate testing of UPS, generators, switchgear, cooling systems, BMS, EPMS and associated infrastructure, ensuring system interfaces, redundancy configurations and operational sequences perform as intended.
You will participate in commissioning meetings, monitor progress against programme milestones, manage technical defects and coordinate timely resolution of outstanding issues. You will also oversee commissioning documentation, test reports and final handover records, supporting the transition into operational readiness.
The successful candidate will hold a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline, or possess an equivalent relevant qualification, with at least 8 years of testing and commissioning experience within data centres, mission-critical infrastructure or large-scale MEP projects.
You should have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, commissioning methodologies and integrated systems testing. Hands-on experience managing commissioning activities from Cx Level 2 through Level 5 will be highly advantageous.
Candidates should demonstrate strong technical coordination, planning and stakeholder management capabilities, with experience working alongside multiple contractors, equipment vendors and client representatives. You will be organised, solutions-oriented and confident managing complex commissioning programmes under demanding project timelines.
