Siemens Mobility invites students for a structured internship in Singapore, focusing on railway electrification for a Mass Transit System. You will participate in design, manufacturing, delivery, installation and commissioning of Power Supply and Control Equipment essential for operations.

You will work with the T&C team under the Head of T&C and group leader, adhering to EHS guidelines, while engaging with multiple project teams and ensuring progress of installation and testing activities.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the commissioning of Traction Power activities.
• Carry out basic system design/modification works.
• Understand electrical and electronics engineering principles and tools.
• Work with the Automation Team for PLCs.
• Follow up on configuration and change management (CR/DCR).
• Maintain and update configurations and test equipment lists.
• Monitor high-level project schedules and milestones.
• Engage with project teams and follow the status of installation works.
• Monitor testing progress together with the T&C team.

This is your role. What part will you play?

Participate in a Railway Electrification project for a Mass Transit System in Singapore.

The project scope encompasses the design, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and commissioning of

Power Supply and Control Equipment essential for operating a public transportation system. This includes

power supply equipment for 22kV distribution, 1500VDC / 750VDC traction power systems, as well as low

voltage systems.

Strictly adhere to EHS guidelines and quality requirements set by Siemens and the customer. In

specific, you will work in a very motivated team and be an active member of the T&C team and

follow the instructions of the Head of T&C as well as the designated group leader for the assigned

project.

• Support the T&C team in all matters related to the commissioning of Traction Power activities.
• Carry out basic system design/ Modification works
• understand the electrical and electronics engineering principles and tools.
• working with Automation Team for PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
• follow up on the configuration and change management (CR/DCR) activities
• maintain and update the list of configurations for various ongoing Power Supply System.
• maintain and update the list of Test Equipments due for calibration for various ongoing Power Supply System.
• Monitor high level schedule of all the projects with key milestones
• Engage closely with project teams to gain a deeper understanding of the various stages of the projects. Follow-Up the status of installation works
• Monitor the testing progress together with the T&C team

• Undertaking a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma or master’s in electrical / mechanical engineering or equivalent,
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Able to work independently and a good team player who can work well in a multi-cultural

• Proficient in Microsoft Office application.
