Job summary

Siemens Mobility Singapore invites you to contribute to the RTS Link project as an engineering intern in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment. You will assist project management activities including scheduling, costing and document reviews while learning from our technical team.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and possess strong Excel/SAP skills, alongside good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a multi-cultural team.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager on supervising the Delivery of the RTS Link Project: Scheduling, Costing, document reviews.
• Build close relationships with the project team for better understanding of project stages.
• Support configuration and change management activities with assistance from Technical team.
• Assist in procurement activities with assistance from Technical Team.
• Support installation method statements and update technical drawings for clear installation steps.
• Monitor installation works performance with subcontractors.
• Familiarize yourself with T&C activities and support engineering in T&C procedures.
• Coordinate with Platform Screen Doors sub-contractor on schedule and activities.

This is your role. What part will you play?

Assist the Project Manager on supervising the Delivery of the RTS Link Project as follows:

• Support Project Management activities i.e. Scheduling, Costing, Reviewing of documents
• Build a close relationship with the project team for a better understanding of the different stages of the projects
• Support configuration and change management activities with assistance from Technical team
• Assist in procurement activities with assistance from Technical Team
• Support installation method statements and update technical drawings to ensure clear steps and diagrams are detailed out for installation
• Monitor the performance of installation works with our subcontractors
• Familiarize yourself with T&C Activities and support engineering team in T&C procedures
• Coordinate with Platform Screen Doors sub-contractor on schedule and other relevant activities

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid

• Undertaking a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Masters in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Able to work independently and also a good team player who can work well in a multi-cultural environment.
• Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office application.
• Possess advanced knowledge in Excel (formulas, Pivot tables) and SAP
• Skills in AutoCAD, Navisworks will be an additional plus

To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess a Valid Student Pass in Singapore or satisfy the Ministry of Manpower’s Work Holiday Pass (WHP) requirements.
