Job summary

Our client in the banking sector is seeking a tester to join the global finance market team for data migration, testing, UAT and project support. This 6-month contract position is based in Central, Singapore.

You will develop, execute and document UAT test cases, coordinate testing across regional teams, facilitate workshops and track progress to ensure alignment with business acceptance criteria and data integrity during migration.

Qualifications

• Develop, execute, and document comprehensive UAT test cases based on business requirements.
• Coordinate and manage testing activities across regional teams to ensure adequate coverage of country-specific business processes and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate testing workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and defect triage sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Track testing progress, monitor defect resolution, and provide regular status updates to project stakeholders.
• Ensure testing outcomes are properly documented and aligned with business acceptance criteria.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Develop, execute, and document comprehensive UAT test cases based on business requirements.

Data Migration Support

Data Assessment & Cleansing

• Assess data quality and perform data cleansing activities to improve accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Standardize and enrich data to ensure readiness for migration.
• Collaborate with business users to resolve data quality issues and validate ownership.

Data Migration Preparation

• Support migration planning and execution activities.
• Validate data transformation rules and ensure proper source-to-target field mappings.
• Review migration requirements and identify potential data risks and dependencies.

Migration Testing & Validation

• Execute migration testing and perform reconciliation between source and target systems.
• Validate migrated records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure data integrity and completeness throughout the migration lifecycle.
